🍌 Classic Banana Bread Recipe

This Banana Bread is moist, flavorful, and perfect for using up overripe bananas. Great for breakfast, snacks, or dessert!

🧾 Ingredients

  • 3 ripe Bananas, mashed
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • Âľ cup Sugar (can reduce to ½ cup for less sweetness)
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • Optional: ½ cup Chopped walnuts or Chocolate chips

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. Mix wet ingredients
    • In a large bowl, mash the bananas.
    • Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
  3. Combine dry ingredients
    • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Combine wet and dry
    • Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Don’t overmix.
    • Stir in optional walnuts or chocolate chips.
  5. Bake
    • Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
    • Bake for 60–70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool and serve
    • Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy!

đź’ˇ Tips

  • Overripe bananas with brown spots give the best flavor and sweetness.
  • For a moist loaf, do not overmix the batter.
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for extra warmth.

If you want, I can also give a quick 3-ingredient banana bread version that’s ready in under 30 minutes—super easy for busy mornings.

Do you want me to do that?
