Ingredients

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk

For the crumb topping:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Crumb Topping

  1. Mix flour, sugars, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  2. Stir in melted butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Set aside.

2️⃣ Prepare the Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  5. Alternately add dry ingredients and buttermilk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with dry ingredients.

  1. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.

4️⃣ Bake
