🛒 Ingredients

  • 2 medium steaks (sirloin, ribeye, or your choice)
  • 3–4 medium potatoes (cubed small for faster cooking)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)
  • Optional: chili flakes for heat
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

🍳 Instructions

1. Cook the potatoes

  • Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat
  • Add cubed potatoes, season with salt, pepper, and paprika
  • Cook for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and tender
  • Remove and set aside

2. Sear the steak

  • In the same pan, add another tbsp oil
  • Season steaks generously with salt, pepper, and herbs
  • Sear on high heat:
    • 3–4 minutes per side (medium-rare)
    • Adjust for your preferred doneness
  • Remove and let rest

3. Make garlic butter

  • Lower heat, add butter to the pan
  • Stir in garlic and cook for ~30 seconds until fragrant

4. Bring it together

  • Return potatoes to the pan and toss in garlic butter
  • Slice steak into strips and add back in
  • Spoon butter over everything and cook 1–2 minutes more
