  • 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks

  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Beef and Gravy

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional, adds depth)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil (if needed)

🍳 Instructions

1. Make the Mashed Potatoes

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water until tender (about 15–20 minutes)
  2. Drain and mash with butter and milk
  3. Season with salt and pepper, keep warm

2. Cook the Ground Beef and Gravy

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat
  2. Add ground beef, breaking it apart until browned
