Here’s a delicious, restaurant-style Garlic Butter Shrimp with Creamy Spaghetti Garlic Cheese Sauce recipe you can make at home:

🍤 Garlic Butter Shrimp with Creamy Spaghetti Garlic Cheese Sauce

Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

For the shrimp:

  • 12–15 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the creamy garlic cheese sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Pinch of chili flakes (optional)

For the spaghetti:

  • 200 g spaghetti
  • Salt for boiling water

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the spaghetti

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Drain and set aside.

2️⃣ Prepare the shrimp

  1. Heat 2 tbsp butter in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  4. Drizzle with lemon juice and remove shrimp from the pan.

3️⃣ Make the creamy garlic cheese sauce

  1. In the same pan, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  3. Pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly.
  4. Gradually add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and optional chili flakes.

4️⃣ Combine spaghetti and sauce

  1. Add cooked spaghetti to the creamy sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  2. Return shrimp to the pan and gently toss with spaghetti and sauce.

5️⃣ Serve

  • Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
  • Serve hot with garlic bread or a side salad for a full meal.

💡 Tips:

  • For extra flavor, you can sear the shrimp first in a hot pan before adding the sauce.
  • Use fresh Parmesan for the creamiest sauce — pre-grated can be grainy.
  • If sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta water to loosen it.

If you want, I can also make a quick 20-minute version that uses minimal ingredients but still tastes creamy and restaurant-quality.
