Instructions

    • In a skillet, brown ground beef with chopped onion until fully cooked.
    • Drain excess fat.
    • Stir in frozen vegetables, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix Casserole Base:
    • In a large bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup and milk.
    • Add cooked meat and vegetable mixture; stir well.
  4. Assemble Casserole:
    • Pour meat mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
    • Arrange tater tots in a single layer over the top.
    • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over tater tots.
  5. Bake:
    • Bake uncovered for 30–40 minutes, until tater tots are golden and crispy, and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Serve:
    • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
    • Optional: garnish with chopped parsley or green onions for extra color.
