Here’s an easy No-Knead Bread recipe—crusty on the outside, soft and airy inside, with almost no effort 🍞


🍞 No-Knead Bread Recipe

🧂 Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour (or bread flour for better texture)
  • 1½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp instant yeast
  • 1½ cups warm water

🍳 Instructions

1. Mix dough (no kneading!)

  • In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and yeast
  • Add warm water
  • Stir until a sticky dough forms
  • Cover with plastic wrap or a towel

2. Let it rise

  • Leave at room temperature for 12–18 hours
  • Dough will become bubbly and doubled in size

3. Preheat oven

  • Heat oven to 230°C (450°F)
  • Place a heavy pot (Dutch oven) inside to heat for 30 minutes

4. Shape dough

  • Lightly flour your hands
  • Turn dough onto floured surface
  • Shape into a rough ball (don’t overwork it)

5. Bake

  • Carefully place dough into hot pot
  • Cover with lid
  • Bake 30 minutes covered
  • Remove lid and bake another 10–15 minutes until golden brown

6. Cool

  • Let bread cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing

  • Longer fermentation = better flavor
  • Dough should be sticky (don’t add too much flour)
  • Dutch oven creates crispy crust (important step!)
