Here’s a fun, indulgent recipe for Creamy Fried Bombs—crispy outside, creamy cheesy inside. Perfect snack or party appetizer 😋


🧀 Creamy Fried Bombs Recipe

🛒 Ingredients

For filling:

  • 1 cup mashed potatoes (or cooked shredded chicken)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese (or processed cheese)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: chopped green chilies or herbs

For coating:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1–1.5 cups breadcrumbs
  • Oil for deep frying

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1. Make creamy filling

  • Mix mashed potatoes (or chicken) with cream cheese, mozzarella, butter, and seasonings
  • Stir until smooth and thick
  • Chill in fridge for 15–20 minutes (easier to shape)

2. Shape the bombs

  • Take small portions and roll into balls
  • Make sure they are tight and compact

3. Coat for crispiness

Dip each ball in:

  1. Flour
  2. Egg
  3. Breadcrumbs

👉 For extra crunch, repeat egg + breadcrumbs again (double coating)


4. Fry

  • Heat oil on medium heat
  • Fry until golden brown and crispy (about 2–3 minutes)
  • Remove and drain on paper towels

🍽️ Serve with

  • Garlic mayo 🧄
  • Chili sauce 🌶️
  • Ranch or ketchup 🍅

  • Keep oil medium heat so they cook inside without burning
  • Chill balls before frying so they don’t break
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan
