  • 1 egg (or 2–3 tbsp flour for eggless version)
  • 2 tablespoons onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano or mixed herbs
  • Oil for shallow frying

🔥 Instructions:

1. Prep broccoli

  • Lightly steam or blanch broccoli, then chop finely
  • Squeeze out excess moisture (important for crisp patties)

2. Make the mixture

  • In a bowl, mix broccoli, cheese, breadcrumbs, egg (or flour), onion, garlic, and spices
  • Combine until it holds together (add more crumbs if too wet)

3. Shape patties

  • Form small round or oval patties
  • Coat lightly in breadcrumbs for extra crunch

4. Cook

  • Heat a little oil in a pan
  • Shallow fry on medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy

5. Serve
