Here’s a bold, flavorful twist on a classic—Cajun Shrimp Deviled Eggs: creamy, smoky, and a little spicy.


🍤🥚 Cajun Shrimp Deviled Eggs

🧾 Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs (hard-boiled)
  • 12–15 small shrimp (peeled & deveined)
  • 2–3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (plus extra for shrimp)
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil (for shrimp)
  • Optional: chopped parsley or green onions

🔥 Instructions:

1. Boil the eggs

  • Place eggs in water, bring to a boil, then cook 10–12 minutes
  • Cool, peel, and slice in half
  • Remove yolks into a bowl

2. Cook the shrimp

  • Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning
  • Heat butter/oil in a pan
  • Cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through
  • Set aside (you can chop them or keep whole for topping)

3. Make the filling

  • Mash egg yolks
  • Add mayo, mustard, paprika, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt & pepper
  • Mix until smooth and creamy

4. Fill the eggs

  • Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture into egg whites

5. Top it off

  • Place a shrimp on each egg (or chopped shrimp on top)
  • Sprinkle extra Cajun seasoning and herbs

😋 Serving ideas:

  • Chill for 20–30 minutes before serving
  • Add a dash of hot sauce for extra kick
  • Serve as an appetizer or party snack

💡 Tips:

  • Don’t overcook shrimp—they get rubbery quickly
  • For extra richness, add a little cream cheese to the filling
