Crack Chicken Tacos
Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
- 1 packet ranch seasoning
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (or Colby-Jack)
- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Small flour or corn tortillas
Instructions (Slow Cooker – easiest)
- Load it up
Place chicken in the slow cooker. Sprinkle ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and pepper over the top. - Add the creamy stuff
Pour in chicken broth. Place cream cheese on top (no need to stir yet). - Cook
- Low: 6–7 hours
- High: 3–4 hours
- Shred & mix
Shred chicken right in the slow cooker. Stir until cream cheese is fully melted and creamy. - Finish it
Stir in shredded cheese and bacon. Cover for 5–10 minutes until melted.
Assemble the Tacos
Spoon chicken into warm tortillas and top with:
- Green onions
- Extra bacon
- Diced tomatoes
- Shredded lettuce
- Jalapeños or hot sauce 🌶️
