Here’s a classic Chocolate Chip Muffins recipe — soft, fluffy, and loaded with chocolate chips.

🍫 Chocolate Chip Muffins

Ingredients (Makes 12 muffins)

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat & Prep

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners or grease lightly.

2️⃣ Mix Dry Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

3️⃣ Mix Wet Ingredients

  • In another bowl, whisk together milk, oil (or melted butter), egg, and vanilla extract.

4️⃣ Combine

  • Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients.
  • Stir gently until just combined — do not overmix; batter should be slightly lumpy.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.

5️⃣ Bake

  • Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
  • Bake 18–22 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let muffins cool 5 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack.

✨ Tips

  • Extra chocolatey: Sprinkle a few chocolate chips on top of each muffin before baking.
  • Moist muffins: Add 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt to the wet ingredients.
  • Variations: Mix in nuts, shredded coconut, or a swirl of peanut butter.

If you want, I can also give a “super soft, bakery-style chocolate chip muffin” version that stays moist for days and rises taller than usual.

Do you want me to do that?
