Tortilla wraps with ground beef

Here’s a flavorful, easy tortilla wraps with ground beef recipe — perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


🌯 Ground Beef Tortilla Wraps

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (if needed)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning or homemade (see below)
  • ½ cup water
  • 4–6 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • Salsa or hot sauce (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook the beef
    Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add beef and onion. Cook until browned (5–7 minutes). Drain excess fat.
  2. Season
    Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds. Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer 3–5 minutes until thickened.
  3. Warm tortillas
    Heat in a dry skillet or microwave for 15–20 seconds to make them flexible.
  4. Assemble wraps
    Spoon beef mixture into the center of each tortilla. Top with cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and salsa.
  5. Fold & serve
    Fold in the sides, roll up tightly like a burrito, and serve warm.

🌶️ Homemade Taco Seasoning (Optional)

  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste

🔥 Optional Add-Ins

  • Sautéed bell peppers
  • Black beans
  • Corn
  • Jalapeños
  • Avocado or guacamole
  • Rice (for heartier burritos)

🧀 Make It Crispy (Optional)

After wrapping, place seam-side down in a hot skillet for 1–2 minutes per side to get a golden, crispy exterior.
