Classic Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients (per sandwich)

  • 2 slices Bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
  • 2 slices Cheddar Cheese (or your favorite melting cheese)
  • 1–2 teaspoons Butter

Instructions

1. Preheat the pan

  • Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat.

2. Butter the bread

  • Spread butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.

3. Assemble the sandwich

  • Place the bread slices butter-side down on the skillet.
  • Add cheese slices between the bread (butter sides facing out).

4. Cook until golden

  • Cook for 2–4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
  • Flip carefully and cook the other side until golden and cheese is melted.

5. Serve

  • Slice in half and serve warm.
