  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder (optional for heat)
  • 1 tsp brown sugar

BBQ Sauce

  • 1 to 1½ cups barbecue sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey (optional for extra glaze)
  • 1 tbsp vinegar (for tang)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)

🔥 Instructions

1. Prep the ribs

  • Pat ribs dry.
  • Rub with olive oil.
  • Mix all dry spices and coat ribs evenly.
  • Let sit for 30 minutes (or overnight for best flavor).

2. Slow cook (key for tenderness)

Oven method (recommended):

  • Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F)
  • Place ribs in a baking dish, cover tightly with foil
  • Bake for 2.5–3 hours until very tender

OR grill method (indirect heat):

  • Cook covered at low heat for 2–3 hours

3. BBQ glaze

  • Mix BBQ sauce, honey, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.

4. Finish with caramelization

  • Brush ribs generously with sauce.
  • Broil in oven or grill over high heat for 5–10 minutes per side
  • Reapply sauce for sticky glaze layers

🍽️ Serving tips

Serve with:

  • Coleslaw
  • Fries or mashed potatoes
  • Grilled corn

💡 Pro tips

  • Low and slow = tender ribs
  • Don’t skip resting time before serving (5–10 min)
  • For smoky flavor, add a little smoked paprika or liquid smoke

If you want, I can also give you a Pakistani-style spicy BBQ version or a charcoal grill street-style version.
