  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar

  • 1/3 cup (75g) unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar, packed

  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup (60g) butter, softened

  • 4 oz (115g) cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup (60g) butter, softened

  • 3/4 cup (90g) powdered sugar

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

๐Ÿ”น 1. Make the Dough:

  1. In a large bowl or stand mixer, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit 5 minutes until foamy (if using active dry yeast).

  2. Add softened butter, eggs, salt, and flour.

  3. Mix and knead (by hand or dough hook) until smooth and slightly sticky โ€” about 8 minutes.

  • Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl.

  • Have softened butter ready to spread.
