Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

  • 4 lamb chops (rib or loin)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Β½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Β½ cup breadcrumbs (panko works best for extra crunch)

  • Β½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Coating:
    • In a shallow dish, combine Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Coat the Lamb Chops:
    • Pat lamb chops dry with paper towels.
    • Press each chop firmly into the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture, coating both sides evenly.
  3. Heat the Pan:
    • In a large skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium-high heat.
  4. Fry the Lamb Chops:
    • Place the chops in the skillet and cook 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust time depending on thickness).
    • Avoid overcrowding the pan; fry in batches if needed.
  5. Rest the Meat:
    • Transfer chops to a plate and let them rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.
  6. Garnish & Serve:
    • Sprinkle with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
    • Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad.
