🍝 Spinach & Mushroom Spaghetti Recipe

🛒 Ingredients

  • 250g spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 4–5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 250g mushrooms, sliced
  • 2–3 cups fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup cream (or milk for lighter version)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1. Cook the spaghetti

  • Boil pasta in salted water until al dente
  • Drain and save 1/2 cup pasta water

2. Sauté mushrooms

  • Heat olive oil or butter in a pan
  • Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds
  • Add mushrooms and cook until golden and soft

3. Add spinach

  • Stir in spinach and cook until wilted (1–2 minutes)

4. Make the sauce

  • Lower heat and add cream
  • Add salt, pepper, chili flakes, and oregano
  • Mix well and simmer for 2–3 minutes

5. Combine pasta

  • Add cooked spaghetti to the pan
  • Toss everything together
  • Add a splash of pasta water if needed for smooth sauce

6. Finish

  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top
  • Serve hot
