Apple Pie Biscuits

Posted on April 21, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a cozy, easy Apple Pie Biscuits recipe—flaky, sweet, and full of cinnamon-apple flavor, like mini apple pies without the fuss.

🍎 Apple Pie Biscuits

🧾 Ingredients

For the filling:

  • 2 medium apples (peeled and diced)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2–3 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (optional, thickens filling)

For the biscuits:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1–2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ cup cold butter (cubed)
  • ¾ cup milk (as needed)

Optional topping:

  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1–2 tbsp cinnamon sugar (mix sugar + cinnamon)

🔥 Instructions

1. Make apple filling

  • Melt butter in a pan
  • Add apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice
  • Cook 5–8 minutes until soft
  • Stir in cornstarch slurry if you want thicker filling
  • Let it cool

2. Make biscuit dough

  • Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar
  • Cut in cold butter until crumbly
  • Add milk gradually until soft dough forms (don’t overmix)

3. Assemble

  • Roll dough lightly on a floured surface
  • Cut into squares or circles
  • Place apple filling in the center
  • Fold or sandwich (depending on shape)

4. Bake

  • Place on baking tray
  • Brush tops with melted butter
  • Sprinkle cinnamon sugar
  • Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 15–20 minutes or until golden

🍏 Tips

  • Keep butter cold for flakier biscuits
  • Don’t overfill or they may leak
  • Let filling cool before stuffing

🍽️ Result

You get soft, buttery biscuits with warm apple pie filling inside—perfect for breakfast, tea, or dessert.

If you want, I can also give you a quick 5-minute canned biscuit version or a glazed bakery-style version.
