Here’s a guide for making perfect cheeseburger beef — juicy, flavorful, and easy to cook.

🥩 Cheeseburger Beef Recipe

Ingredients (for 4 burgers)

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend = 80% lean, 20% fat for juiciness)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of cheese (American, cheddar, or your favorite)
  • Optional: garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce (1 tsp)

Burger assembly:

  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion
  • Condiments: ketchup, mustard, mayo

Instructions

1️⃣ Form the patties

  1. Gently shape ground beef into 4 equal patties, about ¾–1 inch thick.
  2. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb (prevents puffing while cooking).
  3. Season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

2️⃣ Cook the patties

Stovetop / Skillet:

  1. Heat a skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side for medium doneness (adjust time for thicker patties or preferred doneness).
  3. Add cheese slices during the last minute and cover briefly to melt.

Grill:

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high.
  2. Grill patties 3–4 minutes per side.
  3. Place cheese on top in the last minute.

3️⃣ Toast the buns

  • Butter lightly and toast on the skillet or grill for 1–2 minutes until golden.

4️⃣ Assemble

  1. Bottom bun → lettuce → tomato → burger with melted cheese → pickles/onion → condiments → top bun.

Tips for Juicy Cheeseburger Beef

  • Don’t overwork the meat when forming patties — it makes burgers tough.
  • Use 80/20 beef for juiciness.
  • Indentation trick keeps patties flat while cooking.
  • Rest the burgers 2–3 minutes after cooking to lock in juices.

If you want, I can also give a fast stovetop method for ultra-juicy burgers with a caramelized crust, which mimics restaurant-style cheeseburgers.
