Here’s a super easy beer bread recipe — no yeast, no kneading, no rising time 🍞🍺


🍺 Easy 4-Ingredient Beer Bread

🛒 Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 (12 oz) bottle or can of beer
  • 3 tbsp melted butter (for topping)

🔥 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.


2️⃣ Mix

In a large bowl, combine:

  • Flour
  • Baking powder
  • Salt

Pour in the beer and stir until just combined.
⚠️ Do not overmix — batter will be thick and sticky.


3️⃣ Bake

  • Spoon batter into loaf pan.
  • Pour melted butter over the top.
  • Bake for 45–55 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.

4️⃣ Cool

Let cool 10–15 minutes before slicing.


💡 How It Works

The carbonation and yeast in the beer react with baking powder to help the bread rise — no traditional yeast needed.

🧀 Cheddar Beer Bread

Add 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar + ½ tsp garlic powder.

Add 1 tbsp dried Italian herbs + ½ tsp onion powder.

Add ¼ cup sugar + drizzle honey on top before baking.

🌽 Cornbread-Style

Replace 1 cup flour with cornmeal.
