Cheeseburger

Here’s a classic Cheeseburger recipe — juicy, flavorful, and easy to make at home.

🍔 Classic Cheeseburger

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise
  • Optional: butter for toasting buns

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Patties

  1. Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions.
  2. Gently shape into patties slightly larger than your buns.
  3. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  4. Optional: Press a small dimple in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

2️⃣ Cook the Patties

Stovetop / Grill:

  • Preheat a skillet or grill to medium-high heat.
  • Cook patties 3–5 minutes per side for medium doneness (adjust for desired doneness).
  • Place cheese slices on top during the last minute of cooking and cover to melt.

3️⃣ Toast the Buns (Optional)

  • Lightly butter the cut sides of buns and toast on a skillet or grill until golden brown.

4️⃣ Assemble the Cheeseburgers

  1. Place cooked patty on the bottom half of each bun.
  2. Add your favorite toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, sauces.
  3. Cover with the top half of the bun.

✨ Tips

  • Juicier burgers: Avoid overworking the meat when forming patties.
  • Extra flavor: Mix 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce into the ground beef before shaping.
  • Cheese variations: Swiss, pepper jack, or blue cheese work for different flavor profiles.
  • Resting: Let burgers rest 2 minutes before serving to retain juices.

If you want, I can also give a “loaded bacon-cheddar gourmet version” with caramelized onions, pickles, and a special sauce for next-level cheeseburgers.

Do you want me to do that?
