Here’s a delicious, comfort-food style Cheesy Beefy Rolls recipe — soft rolls stuffed with savory beef and melted cheese. Perfect for a family dinner or party snack.

🥖 Cheesy Beefy Rolls

🛒 Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (7 g / 2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 egg

For the filling:

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste or ketchup (optional, for moisture)

For brushing:

  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prepare the dough

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit 5–10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, melted butter, and egg. Knead until smooth and elastic (~8–10 minutes).
  3. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

2. Cook the filling

  1. In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  2. Add ground beef, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned.
  3. Stir in tomato paste (if using) and remove from heat. Let it cool slightly.
  4. Mix in shredded cheese.

3. Assemble the rolls

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Punch down the dough and divide it into 8–10 equal pieces.
  3. Roll each piece into a small circle, place 2–3 tbsp of filling in the center, and fold the edges to seal. Shape into smooth rolls.
  4. Place rolls seam-side down on the baking tray. Brush with beaten egg.

4. Bake

  • Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

⭐ Tips

  • Add finely chopped bell peppers or mushrooms to the beef for extra flavor.
  • Sprinkle extra cheese on top before baking for an ultra-cheesy crust.
  • Serve with ketchup, marinara sauce, or a spicy dip.

If you want, I can also give a faster version using store-bought dough that’s just as cheesy and flavorful. Do you want me to do that?
