🐔 Chicken Crescent Rolls

🛒 Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 2–3 green onions, chopped (optional)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)

1. Preheat the oven

  • Preheat to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Prepare the filling

  • In a bowl, mix chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheese, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.

3. Prepare the crescent rolls

  • Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.

4. Fill and roll

  • Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll toward the pointed end, forming a crescent shape.
  • Place on the baking sheet, point side down to prevent unrolling.

5. Optional egg wash

  • Beat the egg and brush over the tops for a golden finish.

6. Bake

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove and let cool slightly before serving.

  • Add a teaspoon of hot sauce or ranch seasoning to the filling for extra flavor.
  • These can be frozen before baking—just bake a few extra minutes if cooking from frozen.
