Chicken Wings

Posted on February 25, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a crispy, flavorful Chicken Wings recipe you can make at home (baked or fried options included).

🍗 Classic Crispy Chicken Wings

🛒 Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (split into drumettes & flats)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder (NOT baking soda)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne (optional, for heat)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (if baking)

🔥 Method 1: Oven-Baked (Extra Crispy)

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. Pat wings very dry with paper towels (important for crispiness).
  3. Season:
Toss wings with baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, and olive oil.
  4. Arrange on rack in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).
  5. Bake 40–50 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

🍳 Method 2: Deep Fried (Ultra Crispy)

  1. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Fry wings in batches for 8–10 minutes.
  3. Drain on paper towels.
  4. Fry a second time (2–3 minutes) for extra crispiness.

🍯 Optional Sauces

🔥 Buffalo Sauce (Classic)

  • ½ cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
    Mix and toss warm wings.

🍯 Honey Garlic

  • ¼ cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp butter
Simmer 3–4 minutes, then toss wings.

🍋 Lemon Pepper

  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Pinch salt
    Brush over hot wings.

🧊 Pro Tips for Extra Crispiness

  • Always dry wings thoroughly.
  • Baking powder helps create that crispy skin.
  • Use a wire rack so air circulates.
  • Don’t sauce until after cooking (or they’ll lose crispness).

If you’d like, I can also give you:
