🍫 Chocolate Loaf Cake

🧾 Ingredients

  • 1¾ cups (220g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup (50g) cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup (200g) sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup (180ml) milk
  • Optional: ½ cup chocolate chips

1. Prep

  • Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F)
  • Grease and line a loaf pan

2. Mix dry ingredients

  • In a bowl, sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt

3. Cream butter & sugar

  • In a separate bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy
  • Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla

4. Combine
