- Optional: flaky sea salt
Instructions

- Make pecan clusters
- Line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Arrange pecans in small clusters (3–4 halves each), shaped like little turtle “legs.”

- In a microwave-safe bowl, heat caramels with cream in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth.
- Add caramel
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon of caramel onto the center of each pecan cluster.
- Let set 5–10 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate
- Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Top with chocolate
- Spoon chocolate over the caramel, letting some peek through.
- Sprinkle lightly with flaky salt if using.
- Set
- Chill 20–30 minutes until firm, or let set at room temperature.
Pro Tips
- 🍫 Glossy finish: Add ½ tsp coconut oil to the melted chocolate
- 🐢 Neater turtles: Chill caramel briefly before adding chocolate
- 🥜 Swap pecans for cashews or walnuts if needed
Storage
- Store in an airtight container at room temp up to 1 week
- Refrigerate up to 2 weeks (let sit before eating for best texture)
