Here’s a hearty, comforting Cowboy Soup recipe—simple ingredients, big flavor, and perfect for a filling meal.


🥣🤠 Cowboy Soup

🧾 Ingredients:

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup corn (frozen or canned)
  • 1 cup beans (kidney or black beans, drained)
  • 2–3 potatoes (cubed)
  • 4 cups beef broth (or water + stock cubes)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika or chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or mixed herbs
  • 1 tablespoon oil

🔥 Instructions:

1. Brown the meat

  • Heat oil in a large pot
  • Cook ground beef until browned
  • Drain excess fat if needed

2. Add aromatics

  • Add onion and cook until soft
  • Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds

3. Build the soup

  • Add diced tomatoes, broth, potatoes, and spices
  • Bring to a boil

4. Simmer

  • Reduce heat and simmer for 20–25 minutes until potatoes are tender

5. Add beans and corn

  • Stir in beans and corn
  • Simmer another 5–10 minutes

6. Serve

  • Taste and adjust seasoning
  • Serve hot

  • Shredded cheese
  • Sour cream
  • Chopped green onions
  • Crushed tortilla chips

💡 Tips:

  • Add chili flakes for extra heat
  • For thicker soup, mash a few potatoes in the pot
