Ingredients

  • 1 cup imitation crab meat or real crab meat, shredded
  • ½ cup celery, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup red bell pepper, diced
  • 2–3 tbsp mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for lighter version)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions or fresh dill

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crab
    • If using fresh crab, cook and shred it.
    • If using imitation crab, simply chop into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Mix the vegetables
    • In a bowl, combine celery, red bell pepper, and optional herbs.
  3. Combine crab and dressing
    • Add crab meat to the vegetables.
    • Stir in mayonnaise (or yogurt) and lemon juice.
    • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Chill (optional)
    • Refrigerate for 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
