Slow Cooker Creamy Potatoes

Ingredients (Serves 6–8)

  • 3 lbs (1.4 kg) small potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup milk (adjust for desired creaminess)
  • 4 tbsp butter, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)
  • Fresh parsley or chives for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Potatoes

  • Wash and cut the potatoes into halves or quarters for even cooking.

2. Layer in the Slow Cooker

  • Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Place potatoes in the slow cooker.
  • Add butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

3. Add Creaminess

  • In a small bowl, mix sour cream, cream cheese, and milk until smooth.
  • Pour over the potatoes and stir gently to coat.

4. Cook

  • Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours, until potatoes are tender.
