🧾 Ingredients

  • 3 cups frozen hash browns (thawed slightly)
  • 1 cup cooked ham, diced (or cooked bacon/sausage)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 green onions, chopped (optional)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder (optional)

1. Prep the dish

  • Grease a medium baking dish (about 9×13 inch works well).
  • Spread hash browns evenly on the bottom.
  • Sprinkle ham, cheese, and green onions over the potatoes.

2. Make the egg mixture

  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

3. Combine

  • Pour the egg mixture evenly over the casserole ingredients.
  • Gently press down with a spoon so everything is slightly soaked.

4. Chill (optional but recommended)
