🧄 Garlic Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 French Baguette or Italian bread
  • ½ cup Butter, softened
  • 3–4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese, grated

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat Oven

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2️⃣ Prepare the Garlic Butter

  • In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, and salt.
  • If using, stir in Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.

3️⃣ Slice the Bread

  • Slice the baguette lengthwise or into 1-inch thick slices, depending on preference.
  • Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut side of the bread.

4️⃣ Bake

  • Place bread on a baking sheet, butter side up.
  • Bake for 10–15 minutes, until the edges are golden and the butter is melted.

5️⃣ Optional Broil

  • For extra crispiness, broil for 1–2 minutes, watching carefully to avoid burning.

6️⃣ Serve

  • Slice and serve warm with pasta, soup, or salad.

  • Use room-temperature butter for easy spreading.
  • For a richer flavor, add a pinch of Italian seasoning or crushed red pepper flakes.
  • Garlic bread can also be frozen before baking; bake straight from frozen adding a few extra minutes.
