Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes 🥩🧄🥔

A quick, flavorful meal with juicy steak bites and crispy potatoes cooked in rich garlic butter.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-size pieces
  • 3–4 medium Potatoes, diced
  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme or Rosemary
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: chopped Parsley

Instructions

1. Cook the potatoes

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add diced potatoes, season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and tender.
  • Remove potatoes from the pan and set aside.

2. Sear the steak

  • In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon butter.
  • Add steak pieces in a single layer.
  • Sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned.

3. Add garlic butter

  • Add remaining butter, garlic, and thyme or rosemary.
  • Stir and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Combine

  • Return the potatoes to the skillet.
  • Toss everything together so the potatoes are coated in garlic butter.

5. Serve

  • Sprinkle with parsley and serve hot.

Tips

  • For crispier potatoes, parboil them for 5 minutes before frying.
  • Add Mushrooms or Green Beans for extra vegetables.
  • A squeeze of Lemon Juice at the end brightens the flavor.

🥘 This dish is ready in about 30 minutes and works great for weeknight dinners.
