🧾 Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 2 cups cooked rice (white, brown, or jasmine)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2–3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn, etc.)
  • 2–3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Green onions or sesame seeds for garnish

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Cook the beef

  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat
  • Add ground beef, season with salt & pepper
  • Cook until browned and cooked through
  • Remove from pan and set aside

2. Sauté vegetables

  • Add remaining oil to pan
  • Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant
  • Add bell pepper and mixed vegetables, cook 3–4 minutes until slightly tender

3. Combine beef and rice

  • Add cooked rice to the pan
  • Return the beef to the pan
  • Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil
  • Cook 3–5 minutes, stirring constantly, until everything is well mixed and heated through

4. Serve

  • Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds
  • Serve hot as a main meal

💡 Tips

  • Use day-old rice for better texture—it won’t clump
  • Add a splash of sriracha or chili flakes for a spicy kick
  • For extra flavor, drizzle a little soy sauce right before serving
