Here’s a simple low-carb salmon patties recipe—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and perfect for a healthy meal.


🐟🥗 Low-Carb Salmon Patties

🧾 Ingredients

  • 1 can salmon (or 2 cups cooked flaked salmon)
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup almond flour (or crushed pork rinds for extra low-carb)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (or regular mustard)
  • 2 tbsp green onions (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp parsley or dill (optional)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust if salmon is salty)
  • 1–2 tbsp oil or butter (for frying)

1. Mix the mixture

In a bowl, combine:

  • salmon
  • egg
  • almond flour
  • mayonnaise
  • mustard
  • green onions
  • herbs and spices

Mix until it holds together like a thick dough.


2. Form patties

  • Shape into 4–6 small patties
  • If mixture is too soft, add a little more almond flour

3. Cook the patties

Pan-fry method (best texture):

  • Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat
  • Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown

OR air fryer:

  • 180°C (350°F) for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway

4. Serve

  • Serve warm with lemon wedges or low-carb sauce

  • Chill patties for 10–15 minutes before cooking for better shape
  • Don’t overmix or they’ll become dense
  • Fresh dill or parsley makes them taste brighter
