Salmon patties

Here’s a simple and delicious Salmon Patties Recipe 🐟


Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 can (14–15 oz) Canned Salmon, drained and flaked
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs (or panko for extra crisp)
  • 1/4 cup Onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Bell Pepper, finely chopped (optional)
  • 2 Egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise or plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2–3 tablespoons Vegetable Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix Ingredients
    In a bowl, combine flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, eggs, mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form Patties
    Shape the mixture into 6–8 patties, depending on preferred size.
  3. Heat Oil
    In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  4. Cook Patties
    Fry patties for 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
  5. Serve
    Serve hot with:

    • Tartar Sauce
    • Lemon Wedges
    • On a Burger Bun or with Salad

✅ Tip:
For extra crispiness, coat the patties lightly in breadcrumbs before frying.
