Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4–6 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, avocado slices, jalapeños

Instructions

1. Cook the Beef

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon
  3. Drain excess fat if necessary

2. Add Onion & Garlic

  1. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet
  2. Cook 3–4 minutes until onion is softened

3. Season the Meat

  • Stir in chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper
  • Cook 2 more minutes until fragrant
  • Remove from heat

4. Warm the Tortillas

  • Heat tortillas in a dry skillet for 20–30 seconds per side, or wrap in foil and warm in the oven

5. Assemble the Wraps

  1. Place a tortilla on a plate
  2. Add a portion of the seasoned ground beef
  3. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese, and any optional toppings
  4. Fold or roll the tortilla into a wrap

6. Serve

  • Serve immediately with salsa, guacamole, or a side of rice
