🧾 Ingredients (Makes ~12 truffles)

For the filling:

  • 100g (3.5 oz) hazelnuts, toasted and skinned
  • 100g (3.5 oz) Nutella or chocolate-hazelnut spread
  • 50g (1.7 oz) milk chocolate, melted

For the coating:

  • 100g (3.5 oz) milk chocolate, melted
  • 50g (1.7 oz) chopped hazelnuts

1. Toast the hazelnuts

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
  • Spread hazelnuts on a baking sheet, roast 8–10 minutes until golden
  • Rub in a towel to remove skins

2. Make the filling

  • Chop half the toasted hazelnuts roughly
  • Mix with Nutella and melted milk chocolate until smooth
  • Chill for 30 minutes to firm up

3. Form the truffles

  • Roll mixture into small balls (~1 inch)
  • Press a whole hazelnut into the center of each ball

4. Coat the truffles

  • Dip balls into melted milk chocolate
  • Roll immediately in chopped hazelnuts to coat
  • Place on parchment paper to set

5. Chill & serve

  • Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes until firm
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge
