🍲 Broth & seasoning:

  • 6–8 cups water or beef broth

  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or mixed herbs
  • 1–2 bay leaves
  • Optional: 1 tbsp soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce for depth

1. Brown the beef

  • Heat oil in a large pot
  • Add beef and sear until browned on all sides

2. Build the base

  • Add onion and cook until soft
